Go Fish Digital is looking for an experienced SEO professional to bolster our team of top-notch online marketers.

We are searching for someone who works quickly and efficiently but takes pride in producing high-quality, error-free products. The right candidate is comfortable utilizing qualitative and quantitative data sources to diagnose issues and provide actionable opportunities. Google Analytics, web crawl results, and rank data are a big part of this job, and you'll be happy analyzing them and clearly communicating valuable insights to your clients. You thrive in a collaborative work environment and are excited to learn from your colleagues.

You will:

• Spend time analyzing datasets to identify issues and opportunities
• Build upon the SEO knowledge our team already possesses
• Uncover SEO opportunities for clients by manually investigating their site along with cross-referencing tools and your own data analysis
• Work in a team setting, leading up SEO efforts
• Read, experiment, and learn more about SEO to continue expanding your knowledge and develop subject matter expertise

You should have some or all of the following attributes:

• 3+ years of SEO experience
• Experience with SEO tools such as Moz, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, etc.
• Experience working with an agency setting
• Comfortable looking at and reviewing HTML, CSS, and/or Javascript. (You don't need to write it from scratch, but you must be able to look at it and understand what it is doing.)
• Deep understanding of all aspects of Google Analytics (preferably GA certified)
• Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel (and its Google counterpart, Sheets)
• A desire to work with data and be technical
• The ability to turn analysis into a deliverable that a non-technical person can understand
• Strong, clear writing skills
• The capability to work well in a team and lead teams
• Strong problem-solving skills - if you don't know something but a client needs it, you will work with the team to quickly figure it out

Work Location

Our office is located in downtown Raleigh. We offer a flexible work schedule, so you'll be able to work about 40% remotely (home, coffee shop, etc) and 60% in the office with the rest of the team.

While COVID-19 conditions persist, we are working completely remotely. However, under normal conditions, this is not a remote position. Should it become safe to return to the office, you'll be asked to work in our downtown Raleigh office with the rest of the team 3 days per week.
