LPN - Keene, NH

Shift: 7p-7a

Length: 9 Weeks - 36 hours Guaranteed

Estimated Compensation: $1900

Requirements: NH LPN License, BLS

LPN:

· Assessing, observing, and speaking to patients

· Recording details and symptoms of patient medical history and current health

· Preparing patients for exams and treatments

· Administering medications and treatments, then monitoring patients for side effects and reactions

· Creating, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans with medical team

· Performing wound care, such as cleaning and bandaging them

· Assisting in medical procedures as needed

· Drawing blood, urine samples, and other body fluids for lab work

· Educating patients and family members on treatment and care plans, as well as answering their questions

· Supervise nursing assistants, and nursing students

· Entering proper documentation into facility specific EMR computer systems

· Maintains work operations by following facility policies and procedures

· Follow all departmental policies and procedures as well as safety, environmental, and infection control standards.

· Maintain strict resident and employee confidentiality in compliance with HIPPAA guidelines
