    We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team at GoDog as a Front Desk Attendant. The Front Desk Attendant is responsible for ensuring the completion of all Front Desk daily responsibilities and assisting the Assistant Campus Director in executing planning of events and implementation of new policies and promotions. This role requires leadership and administrative skills, knowledge of canine behavior, and a commitment to upholding company policies and procedures. The Front Desk Attendant will report directly to the Assistant Campus Director and will have opportunities for quick career advancement to a Lead/Supervisor position. Pay is hourly and will be based on experience.

    Responsibilities

    Act as the face of GoDog, greeting customers warmly, addressing inquiries, and resolving concerns with empathy and efficiency.

    Ensuring the completion of tasks on the daily checklist by oneself or the Front Desk team

    Manage daily, weekly, and monthly duties, including client registration, reservation management, lobby maintenance, and front office organization.

    Act as a working Lead on the floor, responsible for the following:

    Checking in and out dogs

    Answering phones and emails

    Assisting customers in the lobby

    Running Dogs

    Covering Daycare breaks as needed

    Assist in training Front Desk staff on GoDog policies and procedures

    Manage social media postings and calendar

    Assist Assistant Campus Director in campus level events and holiday activities

    Manage holiday closing/hours communication to pet parents and maintaining the Holiday prep checklist

    Maintaining the lobby slide show/announcements and Pet of the Month and Employee Spotlight tags

    Assist in client registration, checking pets in and out, and relay critical information to kennel and daycare staff regarding feeding, medication, and scheduled services.

    Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility, including lobby, common spaces, and storage areas.

    Ensure accurate usage of Front Desk software for seamless communication between departments and accurate data management.

    Follow all health and safety protocols, including disinfecting play yards, and holding areas, and maintaining a safe environment.

    Collaborate with the team to maintain a positive and professional work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication.

    Other duties as required

    Qualifications:

    1 years reception or administrative experience

    Ability to lead with kindness, compassion, humility, and an even-keeled demeanor since dogs pick up on human energy

    Proven work ethic, organizational skills, and time management skills

    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

    Ability to proactively identify opportunities and recommend solutions

    Ability to positively interact with the animals that GoDog services

    Ability to regularly move throughout the facility to continuously interact with pets, customers, and staff using physical and mental stamina

    Ability to clean up bodily fluids without becoming squeamish

    Capability to competently complete the tasks required of any employee

    Pet First Aid and CPR Certification

    Background check clearance
