Overview
We are looking for an Assistant Campus Director to join our growing team. The Assistant Campus Director is responsible for quality assurance of overall operations for the GoDog campus and acts as direct support for the Campus Director. As the Assistant Campus Director, you will be responsible for assisting the Campus Director in managing all aspects of campus operations, including overseeing the care and well-being of animals, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and leading a team of dedicated staff. Your focus will be on facilitating the daily onsite operations and training and supporting staff to execute their roles in alignment with GoDog’s values. We’re looking for the Assistant Campus Director to oversee the daily operations onsite and build a customer facing culture of trust! Ideal candidates have industry-related experience and knowledge.
The Assistant Campus Director reports directly to the Campus Director.
Key Responsibilities
Lead staff while promoting a positive work environment
Train employees and assess performance of employees on GoDog policies and procedures
Oversee and participate in daily campus operations alongside Campus Director and staff
Manage Front Desk responsibilities and staff to complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists
Implement, coach, and track engagement and conversion process with Front Desk staff
Responsibility of daily, weekly, and monthly duties including, but not limited to:
Run of day management
Implementation of sales and conversion processes with Front Desk staff
Client communications and satisfaction
Training and quality assurance of employees
Daily operation of ancillary services at participating campuses (Dog Park Bar, Training, Grooming)
Events and Holiday calendar creation and management
Collaborate closely with the Campus Director to execute goals as set out by Campus Director, and the HQ team
Assist in Attendant level hiring
Own the customer experience, oversee customer communication, satisfaction, and complaints
Oversee regular and effective pet parent communication to ensure positive interactions and appropriate and timely status updates
Oversee implementation of marketing & social media strategies
Manage compliance with safety regulations and dog and human first-aid certifications
Be present onsite and operating as leader on duty when the Campus Director is not
Maintain operational standards and pass regular site visits
KPIs: New customer conversion, customer satisfaction, retention
Availability to work Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, as well as all holidays
Other duties as required
Qualifications
3 years professional animal care experience
2 years previous management experience, managing a staff of 15+ employees
2 years experience in a management role of a facility of 45+ animals preferred
Ability to lead with kindness, compassion, humility, and an even-keeled demeanor
Excellent customer service skills and ability to educate pet parents on dog behavior and care
Excellent public relations skills for building relationships in the community and promoting the business
Proven work ethic, organizational skills, and time management skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to proactively identify opportunities and recommend solutions
Ability to positively interact with the animals that GoDog services
Ability to regularly move throughout the facility to continuously interact with pets, customers, and staff using physical and mental stamina
Ability to clean up bodily fluids without becoming squeamish
Capability to competently complete the tasks required of any employee
Pet First Aid and CPR Certification
