GoDog is seeking dedicated and customer-focused individuals to join our team as a Bar Attendant. In this unique role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our dog-park bar patrons.
Responsibilities:
Bar Service:
Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Provide detailed information about our beverage offerings, including flavor profiles and recommendations.
Take drink orders accurately and efficiently at the bar and in the yard.
Prepare and serve beverages, ensuring proper pouring and presentation.
Monitor customer alcohol consumption and identify signs of intoxication, taking appropriate action as needed.
Handle credit card transactions accurately and responsibly.
Proactively engage with patrons to promote memberships, daily specials, featured drinks, and merchandise, driving upselling opportunities and contributing to overall sales growth.
Maintain a clean and organized bar area.
Qualifications & Skills:
Local ABC (Alcohol Beverage Control) permits or licenses are required for this position
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Demonstrated ability to proactively promote and upsell products and packages, enhancing the customer experience through suggestive selling, product knowledge, and recommendations.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with fellow attendants, managers, and kennel staff.
Ability to handle dogs of various sizes, temperaments, and energy levels with patience and confidence.Some prior experience in dog handling is preferred, but not required
Responsible, punctual, and reliable.
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Physical stamina and ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) throughout the workday and comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as our facility operates during extended hours.
Must meet the legal age requirement for alcohol service in the specific location.
