Position Overview:

As the Head of Construction Management Operations at GoPower EV, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our EV charging network. You will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of installation and supply chain, ensuring seamless deployment and maintenance of our charging infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, an understanding of multi-family electric infrastructure and EV charging technologies, and a proven track record of leading high-performing teams. The ideal candidate will have senior level experience in an electrical contracting firm.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Leadership:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive operations strategy that aligns with the company's goals and growth trajectory.
• Provide strategic direction to the operations team, setting clear objectives and performance metrics.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the operations department.

2. Charging Infrastructure Deployment:

• Oversee the end-to-end process of deploying new charging installations, including site survey, electrician bid and selection, coordination of plan creation and permitting, installation, inspection, utility signoff, and commissioning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and customer support, to ensure successful project execution.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs and swiftly address any technical issues to minimize downtime and customer impact.

• Negotiate contracts, manage service level agreements, and evaluate vendor performance regularly.
• Stay up-to-date with evolving regulations and standards in the EV charging industry, ensuring that all operations adhere to legal and safety requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering (e.g., Civil – Construction Management) or a related field.

- Proven experience (8+ years) in operations management, preferably within the EV charging, renewable energy, construction, or utility sectors.

- Knowledge of EV charging infrastructure deployment or solar deployment, and maintenance practices.

- Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing successful teams.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and interact with stakeholders at all levels.

- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to EV charging operations.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
