    DESCRIPTION: Gold Front, an independently-owned creative studio in San Francisco, is seeking a Design Intern to join our staff. The individual we seek is design-obsessed, organized, and always willing to help—no matter the request.

    Our mission is simple and straight-forward: We help clients find their greatness and craft experiences that tell their story. Every story we tell is an opportunity to create moving and provocative relationships with audiences—for our clients and for the independent art projects we develop ourselves. We seek a candidate that shares both our values and our ambition to be the best in the world.

    We have seven people on staff and we're part of a dedicated community of committed creative partners.  This position is ideal for someone just beginning their career in advertising, who aspires to work as a designer. The job will provide insight into the day-to-day functioning of a creative agency, as well as on-set experience. Responsibilities vary day-to-day depending on the needs of the producers and the general office.

     

    ​DESIGN RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Work closely with Creative Directors to complete all aspects of design—from brand design to film to campaigns.

    • Create presentations using Adobe Indesign, PowerPoint, and Keynote.

    • Make video/photo shoot props.

    • Assist with video and photoshoots.

    • Help maintain Goldfront.com.

    • Design UI/UX using Sketch.

    • Create illustrations using Adobe Illustrator.

    GENERAL OFFICE RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Updating and running marketing campaigns

    • Running errands and helping with office upkeep.

     
    

    SKILLS:

    • Organized

    • Good communication skills

    • Open-minded and willing to help

    • Prompt & punctual

    • Flexible

    • Google Docs, Sheets, etc.

    • Familiar with some video/audio equipment and editing programs is a plus

    QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

    • Available full-time (typical day is 9:30am-6:30pm)

    • Must have driver's license (car is a plus)

    • Must like dogs
