    Job Description/Duties/Responsibilities:

    Why is a Manufacturing Supervisor (Metals Team Lead) important to us?

    As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you will be responsible for one of our manufacturing teams. You will have to inspire, develop, and drive the team in daily production and relentlessly in improvement and innovation projects. Your team will be responsible for the timely execution of all production-related tasks from start to end, by which you and your team will become intimately familiar with the entire manufacturing process. Next, you will drive lean Six Sigma and QRM initiatives to help transform our current operation into a full-scale, world-class manufacturing operation, producing an ever-growing number of unique products. To achieve this, you will be the playmaker, facilitating your team in maintaining a stable production, shifting resources around where necessary, and inspiring the team to drive innovation.

    In short, together with your team, you'll ensure that every customer order is printed to perfection and seek to improve product quality and production efficiency. You will be responsible for updating the controlled documents in the Quality Management System that pertain to your team's operations.

    In this role, you will:

    • Lead, organize and motivate one of our manufacturing teams to meet business goals and improve (quality, lead times, safety and costs).
    • Set and maintain processes
    • Review and give feedback to team members
    • Teach, coach, and drive continuous improvement.
    • Apply world-class manufacturing best practices to 100% custom, on-demand manufacturing.
    • Help lead the charge for implementing Lean Six Sigma and QRM in traditionally non-lean environments.
    • Liaise and work directly with our supply chain, product, tech, and production teams to help iterate quickly and establish new processes.
    • Overview and drive multidisciplinary team projects
    • You will report to the Plant Manager.

     

    Minimum Skills/Mandatory Skills/Experience Needed for Hire:

     

    You might be a good fit if (you have/are):

    • A Bachelor or Master's degree in an applicable field (e.g. technical or operations management).
    • 2+ years of experience leading a team, preferably in a complex series production environment.
    • Hands-on experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or QRM.
    • Experience in a fast-growing start-up - or similarly demanding environment.
    • A creative, can-do attitude and a contagious drive.
    • Proactive and independent, requiring minimal direction.
    • Work meticulous and organized.
    • Ability to help a team see opportunities and turn them into successes. ? Are a hands-on problem solver and have an entrepreneurial mindset
    • Problem-solving: having ownership, persistence, and being fact-based

     

    Educational Requirement:

    A Bachelor or Master's degree in an applicable field (e.g. technical or operations management).

    You can park in the front or back and enter either door.

    Dress Code is casual work attire appropriate for working in warehouse/manufacturing facility
