We are looking for a part time to full time employee that is a master in Progressive Web Applications (PWA).

A LITTLE ABOUT US:

Gold Label Society (GLS)is specializing in developing one of the world’s most powerful online content-sharing White Labeled platforms in the form of a progressive web application.

We have taken the best features from existing platforms and combined it with unique functions that could be tailored to the individuals need.

The GLS team’s goal is to Find, Evaluate, Build, and Scale new monetization products, ad formats and functionalities for artists, influencers or any talents with a following. This team is uniquely positioned to provide monetization opportunities, across media products and advertising platforms including OTT subscription platforms.

The product has been developed by outsourcing, but we want to finish is with the unique features in house.

SUMMARY:

This individual will be responsible for testing, debugging, programing and deploying a progressive web application. Activities include time management, Designing, programming, server deployment, Commissioning, acceptance testing, support & troubleshooting, and continues improvement and development.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

· Take the existing progressive web application and complete it with new features. This includes validating current code and determining what parts to salvage and what parts need to be completely redone.

· Support of the design, development, and maintenance of web application, cloud servers and monitoring systems.

· Design and execution of acceptance testing strategies including regular auditing of existing web application and servers for predictive maintenance purposes.

· Participate in design reviews of the architecture and ensure appropriate security, growth, safety, redundancy, reliability and sustainability design strategies are in place and are given proper weighting in the design objectives.

· Supporting the enhancement and maintenance of existing applications. Working with current clients to ensure successful partnering and uptime requirements. Implementation and support of the next generation or updates to the application.

· Development of a strategy for fault management, including metrics and reporting.

· Generate system level documentation and manuals.

· Be willing to work nights, weekends and peak periods as required. Be on call for support.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

· 2+ years of designing and development experience building production-level web applications

· Direct experience architecting and developing scalable web applications with modern JS frameworks (React, Angular, etc.) and tools (Webpack, etc.)

· Strong command of cross-browser compatibility issues, rendering differences, and progressive enhancement strategies

· Working knowledge of web performance and optimization techniques

· Good web security knowledge (Cross Site Scripting, SQL Injection, Input Validation)

· Good project management skills, and ability to work on multiple projects at once

· Well versed with unit testing & debugging techniques.

· Experience in JavaScript, ES6, functional programming

· Understanding of CMS systems,

· Knowledge of frontend development, including responsive interfaces, single-page applications, and using modern JavaScript frameworks such as the use of React

· Knowledge of backend development, including Node.js, data models, backend services, complex business logic

· Experience using REST APIs and an understanding of HTTP and REST architecture

· An understanding of modern web practices to create an efficient user-experience

· Experience with AWS or other major cloud providers and containerization

· Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and associated tools

· Familiar with security practices including encryption and user authentication

· Ability to rapidly learn new APIs/SDKs, programming languages, and tools

· Strong written and oral communication skills

· A portfolio showcasing your work such as existing websites or a GitHub account

· Good understanding of Git, GitHub, and associated workflows

· Experience with continuous integration and deployment

· Knowledge of database design and management

· Experience with containerization technology (Docker, etc.)

NICE TO HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

· Experience with other related web programming languages (PHP, Python, Java, etc.)

· Experience developing RESTful APIs

· Understanding of OS fundamentals, command line tools, and basic shell scripting

· Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins, etc.)

· Knowledge of automation tools and containers (e.g. Ansible, Vagrant, Docker).
