    GoldLeafowner, David Geras, identified a need for excellent caregiving when one of his own family members was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. In 2010, David changed career paths and started GoldLeafas a caregiving company with a mission to provide outstanding care at every stage of life. Through our dedication to providing this new level of quality care, GoldLeafhas been recognized with many accolades including being recognized as Leaders in Dementia Care by the Alzheimer’s Association and receiving an A+ Rating from the Home Care Standards Bureau.

    While Dementia and Alzheimer’s are our specialty, we certainly are not limited to only caring for clients with this diagnosis. We offer care to individuals with a wide range of needs including special needs care, child care, care for seniors, post-operative care, and assisting individuals with a variety of diagnoses including ALS, MS, Cancer, Diabetes, paralysis, and more.Through the years, our caregivers have helped set us apart and made us a top choice for families looking for support and relief; they can focus on being the family and let us handle the caregiving piece.

    We are looking for experienced caregivers who have a passion for serving both seniors and children in their homes. We have both part- time and full – time work paying $14.00 an hour. Your work schedule will vary.

    Duties and Job Requirements:

    We are looking for exceptional individuals to join our team at GoldLeafHomeCare!

    • Must exude kindness and compassion, as well as a desire to serve children and/or elderly

    • Must have a car, current driver license, and insurance

    • Must be at least 18 years old

    • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test

    • Must have at least one year of experience caring for children and elderly if interested;this can be through an agency or privately for a family member.

    • Must be able to communicate effectively in English

    Our team is responsible for improving the daily lives of the clients we care for across the region. Depending on the care needed, your duties will vary. Caregivers assist clients withADL's (bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, feeding, etc.) as well as non-medical services such as companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation.
