- Hiring for a Recruiter OR Sourcer *
Goldbelt, Incorporated is an urban, Alaska Native, for-profit corporation with offices in Juneau, Alaska and Herndon, Virginia. Its primary purpose is to manage assets and conduct business for the benefit of its 3,900 Alaska Native shareholders.
SUMMARY:
This is a full-time position, working remotely. The Recruiter will partner with Business Development in finding key personnel for proposal efforts and other openings as assigned. The ideal candidate will exhibit the ability to maintain confidential information, demonstrated ability to produce results, prioritize and perform various tasks on short notice within deadlines. Goldbelt, Inc. is in search of a Recruiter (or Sourcer) that has experience in Army medical logistics, biomedical equipment technicians (BMETs), research and development, behavioral health, information technology or similar fields in the federal government space.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:
- Recruiting talent at all levels and in different fields of experience and skills.
- Identify candidates through creative sourcing techniques and utilize relationship management techniques to keep pipeline candidates warm.
- Collect and research salary compensation data for bid support and bid pricing.
- Locating incumbents and issuing letters of intent as required.
- Finding key personnel for proposals.
- Meeting with business development personal and hiring managers to understand the scope of the proposal.
- Read the statement of work and note important information as it relates to recruiting.
- Will be required to attend training and obtain AIRS certifications.
NECESSARY SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Knowledge of proposals, RFP, IDIQ, etc.
- Strong organization for tracking candidates and proposals.
- Exposure to interviewing techniques, knowledge of personnel policy and procedure, and federal and state laws regarding employment.
- Experience issuing letters of intent.
- Superior communications skills, verbal and written.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Four (4) or more years recruiting in government contracting.
- Two (2) or more years recruiting on government proposals.
- Excellent networking and interpersonal skills as well as strong organizational skills and initiative.
- Advanced computer knowledge (MS Office applications, including Word and Excel).
- Ability to understand the Statement of Work and extract data importing to the recruiting process.
- Knowledge of best practices for finding incumbents.
- Strong working knowledge of LinkedIn.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Recruiting experience with US Government, Civil Government, and Military Public Health System.
- Experience working with ANC or 8(a) companies.
- Experience with Taleo.
- Experience with SharePoint.
