The Field Marketing Manager develops and implements field marketing strategies and tactics that drive sales and meal counts at the local level; develops and executes local marketing plans for restaurants experiencing sales declines and competitive intrusions; and provides field marketing support to franchisees and restaurants while delivering excellence in customer service. This position works closely with the National Marketing team and Field Operations team.
Job Responsibilities
Work with the marketing manager to support franchisees and restaurants with marketing-related requests, including local creative development, deploying email blasts and Facebook posts, local listing updates, in restaurant POP, national promotion support, and any other needs. Provide marketing advice, strategy, and counsel to franchisees, restaurants, and the Field Operations team. (35%)
Responsible for developing, executing, managing budget, and tracking field marketing plans for restaurants experiencing sales declines and competitive intrusions. (25%)
Responsible for Local Store Marketing calendar, including the development, execution, and communication of local “opt-in” programs designed to build sales and drive guest counts (15%)
Coordinate franchisee print mail drops, including managing deadlines, corresponding with franchisees, and developing and proofing artwork. (15%)
Execute and assist in the development of an annual marketing plan for company-operated restaurants. (10%)
Education/Experience
BA or equivalent work experience required; preferred areas of study include business, marketing, advertising, design, economics, math, computer science, communication, or hospitality management. Master’s degree is a plus.
Proficient with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, PowerPoint. Personal/business experience in social media properties is preferred.
Three or more years of experience in restaurant marketing or multi-unit franchise marketing highly preferred; project management experience including creative, development, budgeting, agency management, media, consumer promotions, event planning, and PR or equivalent.
