    As our Sales Representative, you are the first point of contact for both our potential clients and our health partners. You meet with potential clients and their families to explain how our caregivers can assist them by providing hands-on-care at home. You can partner with assisted living facilities, hospitals, rehab centers, and senior facilities to provide great care for our senior population.

    You can see and promote our agency’s services in the community and secure health partners through promotional materials and personal visits. You shall demonstrate to them why working with us is a win-win situation for both them and their clients/residents. Because you pre-plan sale activities, you are able to reach your goals. You will also work with other team members from Golden Heart whom we may designate to help facilitate, coordinate, advise, plan, meet with, and/or any other support management or the leadership team may deem necessary to help foster success for the agency.

    Additionally, you will participate in health fairs and educational events to reach out to the community. Your ability to easily build relationships with others is evident at these events as you interact with those seeking information.

    Duties and Responsibilities including but not limited to:

    Developing and contacting client leads and referrals. Identify new customers.

    Putting clients into the system (Smart care) for marketing purposes.

    Meet with Management on a weekly or / Bi-weekly basis.

    Write down measurable goals and reach them quarterly/ annually.

    Maintaining an active call list of potential clients for new business.

    Attending events, and activities regarding potential clients.

    Meeting with potential clients, in their homes, or place of residence and telling them about our services; converting these leads 8 out of 10 times.

    Develop and come up with new ideas, events, activities, and plans to create leads, and;

    Convert leads into Golden Heart Clients as new business.

    Complete given goals for marketing and get results on a monthly and quarterly basis.

    Support/Build brand awareness and positioning.

    Develop and help manage advertising campaigns.

    Handle social media, public relation efforts, and content marketing

    Create promotions/ advertising campaigns with the Golden Heart team regarding the marketing strategy.

    Direct, plan and coordinate all marketing efforts with the Golden Heart team.

    Develop strategic partnerships and create relationships with managers and care coordinators with various agencies to develop new emerging client base(s) (Referrals). Including but not limited to: Assisted Care Facilities, Nursing Homes, and Independent Living Communities, The Veterans Administration, Hospitals, Medical Clinics, and Insurance companies, Rehab Centers, Medical offices, and other places that may help or accommodate senior citizens.

    Marketing Representative Skills & Requirements

    The applicant needs to have completed their RN degree with an active license in Iowa, a graduate of an approved school of nursing.

    The applicant should have homecare/healthcare experience, although not required, but sales experience is preferred. We want an assertive individual who can score touchdowns (Close leads when given to them).

    Experience with creating a marketing campaign, marketing strategy, and market plan would be a plus. Experience with online marketing, including social media, and content marketing would be awesome. This person needs to be highly organized.

    As the Sales Representative, you will report to Management and/or to the Leadership team to report on all activities, goals and any special projects given.

    The applicant, if selected for the full-time position would be offered a base salary with a commission/ bonus incentive linked to performance.

    This employee must have strong organizational skills, be self-motivated who is driven, can obtain and close leads, run events, and manage his/her own schedule. This employee may be required to submit weekly reports and key performance indicators (KPI’s), and track referral source development. He/she will need to be proficient in spreadsheets and word processing and be computer literate, as well as having the ability to communicate and problem-solve effectively. And finally, assist management as needed.
