    THE ROLE. Reporting to the CHRO, the Vice President, TA + D&I is responsible for leading, mentoring and developing the recruiting team and designing and developing the company’s diversity and inclusions initiatives.  This role will drive the creation, evolution and implementation of talent acquisition and D&I programs, strategies and KPI’s that address and measure immediate and long term staffing and engagement goals. The right leader will help transform the recruiting team into a high performance function in tight partnership with the business while driving our employer brand and candidate experience.  This person will need to be both operational and strategic, willing to roll-up their sleeves high, be resourceful and ready to move at a fast-pace.  They should be prepared to bring best practices to implement, as well as establish and own a strong relationship with the executive team and leadership across the company and all its entities.

    WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE.

    THE BEST CANDIDATES WILL HAVE...

    • Bachelors degree; masters a plus in Psychology, Marketing or HR Management
    • 15+ years experience in recruiting and/or HR with 10 years experience leading a Recruiting team in a high-tech, digital marketing and/or high-performing organizations. In-house corporate recruitment experience required
    • Deep insight into e-commerce recruiting, with an understanding of the e-commerce candidate marketplace and ability to collaborate with hiring managers. Proven ability to stay abreast of market and competitive trends
    • Strong influencing skills and demonstrated ability to quickly establish rapport, build credibility and create partnerships at all levels within the company
    • Exceptional interpersonal, social and communications skills with strong business acumen, polish and excellent customer service skills
    • Strong knowledge of common human resources practices, employment and immigration laws and/or government compliance regulations as it relates to recruitment and hiring
    • Demonstrated ability to coach, empower, engage and develop talent 
    • Experience leading D&I internal and external strategies, programs and initiatives
    • Demonstrated success and leadership in implementing creative methods to source and attract passive and diverse candidates
    • Metric oriented with a strong analytical mind, with the ability to display key TA metrics in a succinct and compelling way
    • Experience recruiting in a high-volume environment, closing complex positions, negotiating compensation packages, and building an innovative and sustainable talent acquisition strategy
    • Ability to prioritize and work within a fast-paced, high growth and evolving culture
    • Must be self-sufficient, driven and passionate about making a difference and contributing to the success of the company, with exceptional leadership competencies and emotional intelligence
    • Collaborative style with ability to work in a team environment 
    • Able to attend periodic after-hours networking events, seminars and career fairs
    • Personable, supportive and encouraging; Knows how to balance business and fun
    • Is credible and has impeccable follow through and attention to detail
    • Has the ability to motivate, inspire and take a great team and turn them into a world class team 
    • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
    • Deep experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and other search and marketing tools
