Job Description

Ideally located in Orange County, CA with part time work from home possible (and Sacramento, CA or Central Valley, CA also possible).

Assist the CFO oversee financial controls, banking systems and administration, bank compliance forms and other accounting systems procedures (ability to work in Yardi is a positive), prior history in private equity, real estate development, and/or renewable energy is a positive. Employee will take a lead role with Accounting and Financial Management Functions, and a supportive role to budgeting and capital markets functions of the business as specified below:

1.) Key Accounting and Financial Management Duties:

• Accounting oversight and processing of all payments and transactions
• Administration of accounting and other banking systems with multi party approval processes
• Management of outside accounting firms
• Ensure timely and accurate financial tracking, reporting, and accounting systems (help to improve rules, systems, and redundancy to ensure safe financial mgmt. and accurate info for the Company’s various projects and subsidiaries)
• Oversee integration of 3rd party financial reports where applicable and audit payment history for vendors
• Initially work directly on AP, AR, transfers, depreciation schedules, and other entries all in the normal course of business activities with various ownership structures.
• Eventually as the Company grows, help hire and train AP/AR staff to support workloads on an as needed basis (hands on direct entry and posting requirements, but also coaching training and auditing of staff entries as the Company grows)

2.) Employee will support budgeting and cash management processes for the Company

Golden State Clean Energy, LLC and its affiliates (“GSCE” or the “Company” collectively with its principals their affiliates) is a Newport Beach and Sacramento California based renewable energy and infrastructure development company focused on real estate, renewable energy, infrastructure, transmission, and other investments in the United States with specific focus in California. GSCE has created a large development pipeline of well over 5,000 MWs of near, mid and long term energy projects in California and its principals have successfully developed other similar projects in California, most notably they were the original developers of the Westlands Solar Park. While GSCE’s principals are very experienced in the business (14+ years), GSCE as a company is only 3 years in the making will be undergoing significant growth during the term of the Employment Agreement including a fast growing team so we are looking for and Employee that can be accustomed to an earlier stage growth business or scaling business venture as the Company seeks to ramp up its team and support for managing a large development pipeline over the next 10-15 years.
