JOB TITLE: Plastic Surgeon

LOCATION: Walnut Creek, CA

In the midst of health care consolidation, Golden State Dermatology (GSD) was founded to maintain a relatively independent model of practice. GSD is physician owned and led and is rapidly growing with 15 locations in the San Francisco Bay Area and California’s Central Valley. There are plans to continue growing in these markets and across the Western United States. 

GSD is a leading and comprehensive medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology group that expanded into Plastic Surgery, branded as Golden State Plastic Surgery (www.goldenstateplasticsurgery.com), in early 2018. Many of GSD’s existing patients are interested in plastic surgery so this enabled the group to expand its service offering to the community. In July of 2019, the group finished construction and opened a beautiful plastic surgery center in Walnut Creek, CA. This center has X exam rooms, Y surgery rooms and a large, state of the art, operating room. 

There is currently one Facial Plastic Surgeon in the group. There is capacity in the new center and demand within and outside of GSD’s current patient population to add another plastic surgeon with particular interest and expertise in body plastic surgery (a service GSD does not currently offer). While the existing facial plastic surgeon and the soon to be hired plastic surgeon are based in Walnut Creek, there is an opportunity to provide cosmetic services and consults across GSD’s rapidly expanding clinics to growth the market catchment area.
