    IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL BE REPORTING TO THE CS MANAGER AND WILL BE INSTRUMENTAL IN DRIVING THE GROWTH OF THE ORGANIZATION AT OUR LATHROP LOCATION.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR A CSR, ARE AS FOLLOWS; CUSTOMER AND SALES REP CONTACTS, QUOTING, ORDER ENTRY, ORDER PROCESSING, AND ORDER SHIPPING.

    • MAINTAIN COMMUNICATION BETWEEN CUSTOMER, SALES REPS AND VENDORS VIA PHONE AND EMAIL

    • ATTEND SCHEDULING MEETINGS WHEN REQUESTED, PRESENT NEW OPPORTUNITIES OR REPEAT PROJECTS

    • ASSIGN TASKS ASSOCIATED TO OTHER DEPARTMENTS TO ACHIEVE THE INFORMATION NEEDED TO QUOTE NEW PROJECTS OR TO UPDATE EXISTING PROJECT QUOTES

    • WORKS DIRECTLY WITH THE ESTIMATING TEAM, PROVIDES VENDOR QUOTES FOR EXISTING AND OR NEW PROJECTS

    • ENTER ORDERS INTO ENTERPRISE RESOURCE PLANNING (ERP), FOLLOW UP AND ADJUST AS NECESSARY

    • REVIEW AND CONFIRM ANY NEW ORDERS THAT COME IN WITH THE SALES REP FOR CORRECTNESS BEFORE PROCESSING

    • ACKNOWLEDGE CUSTOMER PURCHASE ORDER WITH ACCEPTANCE OR UNDER REVIEW STATUS TO DETERMINE IF PRICING HAS BEEN UPDATED AND OR APPROVED BY MANAGEMENT

    • REVIEW AND ENSURE THAT ALL ORDERS ARE ENTERED CORRECTLY, ARE ON-TIME, DELIVERIES MEET INCLUDING DIRECT SHIPMENTS, AND OTHER PRODUCT QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE ISSUES ARE BEING MET

    • PROCESS PURCHASE ORDERS WHILE MONITORING CUSTOMER OWNED INVENTORY AND WAREHOUSE STOCK ITEMS FOR CORRECT QUANTITY, MIN/MAX AND CURRENT COST PRICING

    • PROVIDE CUSTOMERS AND SALES REPS AS TO AVAILABILITY OF STOCK, SLOW-MOVING ITEMS, AND FAST-MOVING ITEMS

    • KEEP SALES REPS AND MANAGEMENT INFORMED OF PROBLEMS AND SITUATIONS THAT MAY AFFECT THE PERFORMANCE OF PRODUCTION, SCHEDULING, AND SHIPPING

    • HANDLE CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS, QUESTIONS, AND FOLLOW-UP WITH APPROPRIATE INT/EXT PERSONNEL AS REQUIRED

    • FORWARD COMMUNICATIONS TO APPROPRIATE INT/EXT PERSONNEL – CUSTOMER ORDER CHANGES, DRS, ASN, COA’S

    • COMPLIES WITH COMPANY POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

    • INTERFACE WITH CUSTOMERS, SALES, DESIGN, ESTIMATING, PRODUCTION, SHIPPING, ACCOUNTING PERSONNEL

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

     

    EDUCATION:

    • HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED

    • THREE YEARS’ EXPERIENCE IN PROJECT-BASED CUSTOMER SERVICE ENVIRONMENT

    • THREE YEARS’ EXPERIENCE IN A MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT

     

    SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

    EXPERIENCE IN THE FULFILLMENT ASSEMBLY AND CO-PACKING INDUSTRY

    EXPERIENCE IN THE CORRUGATED CONTAINER INDUSTRY OR PRINT HOUSE

    COMPUTER LITERATE IS A MUST (ONLINE SEARCHING, OUTLOOK EMAIL, MS EXCEL, MS WORD, FILE EXPLORER, CLOUD FILE MANAGEMENT AND SERVER FILE MANAGEMENT)

    Golden West Packaging Group, a Lindsay Goldberg portfolio company, is a leading West Coast mill-independent specialty packaging business formed in 2017. The Company provides custom corrugated packaging, folding cartons and displays along with full-service support, including storage, fulfillment, distribution and packaging supplies and equipment, to a diversified customer base.
