    ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY:

    OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR A CSR, ARE AS FOLLOWS; CUSTOMER AND SALES REP CONTACTS, QUOTING, ORDER ENTRY, ORDER PROCESSING, AND ORDER SHIPPING.

    • MAINTAIN COMMUNICATION BETWEEN CUSTOMER AND SALES REPS VIA PHONE AND EMAIL.

    • ASSIGN TASKS ASSOCIATED TO OTHER DEPARTMENTS TO ACHIEVE THE INFORMATION NEEDED TO QUOTE NEW PROJECTS.

    • ENTER ORDERS INTO SOFTWARE SYSTEMS, FOLLOW UP AND ADJUST AS NECESSARY.

    • REVIEW AND ENSURE THAT ALL ORDERS ARE ON-TIME, DELIVERIES MEET, AND OTHER PRODUCT QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE ISSUES ARE BEING MET.

    • ATTEND SCHEDULING MEETINGS.

    • MONITOR CUSTOMER OWNED INVENTORY AND WAREHOUSE STOCK ITEMS. PROVIDE INPUT TO CUSTOMERS AND SALES REPS AS TO AVAILABILITY OF STOCK, SLOW-MOVING ITEMS, AND FAST-MOVING ITEMS.

    • KEEP SALES REPS AND MANAGEMENT INFORMED OF PROBLEMS AND SITUATIONS THAT MAY AFFECT THE PERFORMANCE OF SALES SERVICE, SCHEDULING, AND SHIPPING.

    • REVIEW AND CONFIRM ANY NEW ORDERS THAT COME IN.

    • COMPLIES WITH COMPANY POLICIES AND PROCEDURES.

    • ADDITIONAL DUTIES AS ASSIGNED BY MANAGEMENT.

    • INTERFACE WITH PRODUCTION, SHIPPING, DESIGN, ACCOUNTING PERSONNEL

    PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS

    THE PERFORMANCE OF THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE WILL BE MEASURED AS FOLLOWS:

    -OPERATING STANDARDS - THE EMPLOYEE WILL NEED TO MEET OR EXCEED THE OPERATING STANDARDS SET IN THE AREAS OF QUALITY, COST, SAFETY, PLANNING, CUSTOMER SATISFACTION, SUPERVISION, EFFICIENCY, AND PRODUCTIVITY. SUCH STANDARDS WILL BE SET ANNUALLY AND COMMUNICATED TO THE EMPLOYEE.

    -PERSONAL GROWTH - EACH YEAR THERE WILL BE PROFESSIONAL GOALS DEVELOPED AND AGREED TO BY THE MANAGER AND SUPERVISOR.
