    Job Description

    The Financial Analyst - Sales Compensation is an integral member of the Field Support Finance and Accounting team.

    As a key business partner, this critical position is chartered with (a) owning the analysis, calculations and communication of results pertaining to GWPG Sales compensation programs (b) fielding questions and helping GWPG Sales team members to understand how their commission and bonus payments are calculated and rectifying errors as needed, (c) being the owner of the analysis pertaining to Sales compensation program updates, and (d) bringing creative ideas, leveraging technology solutions to streamline the Sales compensations calculation processes, tools and communication materials.

    The Financial Analyst for Sales Compensation position is responsible for:

    (i) Calculating monthly commission earnings for sales reps and brokers

    (ii) Creating and distributing monthly commission reports and following up on feedback as needed

    (iii) Maintaining the commission model and updating as needed

    (iv) Calculating and communicating quarterly bonus earnings for Account Managers

    (v) Tracking salaried sales reps’ earnings and bonus hurdles and completing commission conversion analysis

    (vi) Communicating commission and bonus earnings to Payroll for processing

    (vii) Assisting with the commission balance sheet account reconciliation

    (viii) Assisting the People and Culture team with ad hoc Sales team compensation analysis activities

    (ix) Completing special projects and other items as required.

    Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities (SKAs):

    • Results-driven with demonstrated analytical and thinking skills, intellectual rigor and curiosity and problem-solving capability.
    • Strong accounting skills and knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles Ability to exercise a high-level of professionalism and confidentiality when working with the Sales Leadership Team, sales representatives, Payroll and People and Culture team.
    • Consistently delivers the highest level of accuracy and precision in their work product
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively, written and verbally
    • Strong knowledge of budgeting and forecasting techniques as well as proficiency with financial statement analysis.
    • Strong leadership skills (planning, communication, relationship building, influencing)
    • Proven successful experience, and comfort, working in a matrixed environment.
    • Well-rounded understanding of the manufacturing environment and a willingness to learn key areas outside the finance and accounting functions.
    • Ability to gather, analyze and interpret facts, raise questions and exercise sound judgment.
    • Highly self-motivated and takes ownership and consistently meets deadlines.
    • Comfortable walking the manufacturing floor and participating in operational meetings.

    Required Education:

    • BA/BS in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or equivalent.

    Required Experience:

    • Four years of experience with financial and operations analysis. Experience in the areas of inventory control and supply chain management highly desired.
    • Advanced spreadsheet skills, proficient understanding, and/or use of Manufacturing MRP/ERP and database programs
    • Power BI knowledge (DAX, M, SQL, etc.)

    Other desired but not required skills or experience:

    • Certified Public Accountant license, Certified Management Accountant certification, and or master’s degree or comparable work experience a plus
    • Cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
    • Certifications associated with business intelligence and or business planning tools a plus
    • ERP system experience (Great Plains, Amtech, Radius, Harry Rhodes or Nvision a plus)

    If hired, your final base salary compensation will be determined by factors such as skills, experience and/or education. In addition, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer. We typically do not hire at the maximum of the range in order to allow for future and continued salary growth. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year.
