Join the Goldfish Events Marketing Team!

Goldfish Swim School is looking to build a dream team of 3-4 people who can share our message of water safety with the masses this summer. We will train and training is paid. Candidates must be outgoing, friendly and have the ability to retain and articulate information about the Goldfish learn-to-swim program while being an exceptional brand ambassador. Members of the Goldfish Events Marketing Team will be responsible for spreading the word about W.A.T.E.R. Safety throughout local communities at events large and small all summer long.

This is a seasonal position and we are currently looking for candidates with full summer availability. However, the opportunity to extend this to a year-round position may exist for the right candidate.

Compensation is $9.50/hour provided the applicant has or obtains lifeguard certifications.

Requirements

Must be able to swim! (We are a learn-to-swim program. Our employees must have this skill!)

Outgoing personality, high energy and a great sense of humor

Proven punctuality and reliable transportation (must have your own car; we will reimburse for gas/mileage)

Ability to maintain friendly and professional demeanor at all times

Must seek to build genuine relationships with families/children

Flexibility to work on the East and West Side of Cleveland

Willingness to obtain lifeguard certifications (we will train)

Self-‐starter, highly motivated, dynamic and creative team player

Social-media savvy (must know how to take photos that increase social media engagement)

Excellent organizational abilities, detail-orientation and capacity to manage multiple projects/assignments

Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Internet communications, as well as, excellent verbal and written communication skills

Previous experience working in an environment with or around children a plus

Previous sales and marketing experience preferred

Willing to work weekend hours

Reliable transportation

Ability to transport supplies to/from events

Higher consideration will be given to applicants who have the potential to work as a Sales and Customer Service representative.
