Qualifications:

Prior management experience (minimum 1 year)

Willing and able to gets hands on, must be a “doer”

High level of energy

Superior communication

Detail-oriented, organized and ability to multi-task

Must pass background examinations prior to training

Duties and Responsibilities:

Directs and controls daily operations to ensure the school is running according to GSS standard operating procedures.

Manages the staff and encourages high productivity, excellent performance and positive employee satisfaction

Initiates workplace employee engagement with the goal of achieving improved employee satisfaction

Provides direction in the retail and vending departments; also provides sales and marketing training to all qualified staff

Works with staff on class scheduling, student progress, customer service and employee performance & training

Oversees all marketing initiatives - in school events, community engagement, social media, and more

Directs and oversees the implementation of the Emergency Action Plan and all safety procedures for the facility and trains staff

Advances through cross-training in multiple roles and substitutes when necessary

Acts as a GSS “ambassador” to provide a Golden Experience to our students, families, and team members

Education: High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications or equivalent is preferred.Goldfish Swim School teaches children from 4 months to 12 years old how to swim and be safer in and around the water. The tropical environment of our state of the art aquatic facility is like no other, the detailed curriculum we teach is proven with over 12 years of extraordinary results.
