    Position Overview

    Social Media Strategist will develop and deploy a multi-channel strategy for current and future social media platforms by conceptualizing, creating and scheduling content for national Goldfish Swim School Franchise accounts. The Social Media Strategist will also assist franchisees in customizing and effectively utilizing social media platforms to increase awareness, generate interest and build consumer trust. The ideal candidate has a demonstrated ability to combine the power of content marketing, social advertising and data analysis to drive results.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Develop, deploy and communicate data-driven strategies that guide creative, content, purpose and success for all social media channels.

    Own the creation of monthly content calendars and provide creative direction to achieve business goals and ensure content remains on-brand.

    Manage all social media channels by publishing updates, handling reputation management and engaging with community members.

    Work with the Marketing team on creation of social and digital marketing campaigns and brand content creation.

    Provide weekly content recommendations, instruction and guidance for franchisee social media channels.

    Develop a standardized reporting process for measuring social media performance.

    Maintain understanding of trends and recommend new strategies to keep Goldfish ahead of the curve in creating brand awareness and utilizing social and digital channels to promote Goldfish Swim School.

    Desired Skills & Abilities:

    At least 5 years of experience in social media and digital marketing with strong strategic acumen, brand tone implementation and an understanding of evolving social media trends.

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    Aesthetically-minded and detail oriented with regard to photography and creative design.

    Strong time management skills and the ability to self-motivate in a fast-paced environment.

    Ability to think laterally and creatively to problem solve under the pressure of competing deadlines while juggling multiple projects simultaneously.

    Outgoing personality and the ability to be a team player in a collaborative work environment.

    Willingness to take direction and feedback in an effort to grow and improve.

    Experience with a Mac-based environment, using Sprout Social and G-Suite preferred.
