    Job Title: Local Marketing ConsultantReports To: Local Marketing ManagerJob Summary: The Local Marketing Consultant will be responsible for supporting new and existing schools in a given territory; assisting with marketing planning and strategy, public relations and community outreach initiatives. The Local Marketing Consultant will be the primary day-to-day contact between the Franchise Marketing Team and the GSS locations and will be responsible for communicating all Franchise-led initiatives and updates for his/her assigned territory/region.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Onboard new locations; following tiered support protocols for checklists, touch base calls and site

    visits – some travel required.

    Provide guidance to all schools in assigned territory on local marketing opportunities, events,

    programs, promotions, offers, partnerships

    Mediate schools’ critical concerns and crisis issues in efficient & professional manner

    Collaborate with school’s assigned Operations Consultant as needed, for collaboration on

    outstanding concerns/issues that would impact operational experience

    Review scorecard for assigned schools and utilize market research and competitive intelligence

    tools to improve results

    Onboard, train and monitor all franchisee social media channels; auditing post frequency and

    ensuring brand standards while helping to drive engagement

    Oversee and assist outside Marketing/PR representatives to ensure brand standards are

    maintained

    Develop and maintain strong Franchise, Franchisee and Vendor relationships and ensure

    expectations are being consistently met

    Assist with team projects as needed

    Requirements:

    BA in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or related field

    Minimum 3 years marketing/communications experience

    Franchise/Multi-Unit Marketing experience a plus.

    Desired Skills and Abilities:

    Proven track record in local marketing strategy & execution

    Independent thinker with teamwork mentality and follow-through

    Strong time management and multi-tasking skills with ability to self-motivate in a fast-paced

    environment

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Strong project management, problem-solving & organizational skills

    Experience with Mac-based environment and G-suite preferred
