    The Jr. Public Relations Specialist will support the Goldfish Swim School Franchising Marketing Team’s communications, public relations and partnership efforts in a variety of administrative and project management tasks.

    About Goldfish Swim School: Goldfish Franchising the leading learn-to-swim franchise with swim school facilities for kids ages 4 months to 12 years. Our proven confidence-building curriculum promotes a love of swimming and teaches children to be safer in and around the water.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Assist in daily public relations efforts and activities, including but not limited to, campaign ideation and execution, media monitoring and reporting, documentation and project management.

    Support brand’s copywriting and copyediting needs, including proofreading internal and external communication for the Franchise Team, providing copywriting support to the internal creative agency, and reviewing brand content, including press releases, media pitches, social media content calendar and blogs for grammatical and brand-tone accuracy.

    Assist with development of the brand's influencer marketing program, working closely with the Social Media Team for outreach, campaign support and partnership agreements.

    Provide support and coverage as needed for the Marketing Team.

    Aid in day-to-day communication and support of brand’s ambassadors.

    Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to solve problems and complete projects

    Additional tasks and assignments as needed

    Desired Skills and Abilities:

    Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations or related field

    Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in the communications space

    Experience and knowledge in copywriting, proofreading and editing

    Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines on time

    Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

    Ability to collaborate with a team, while working independently in a hybrid work environment

    Comfortable working with G-Suite programs in an Apple iOS environment

    Proven project management experience with Asana or similar project management platform

    Ability to work in a high-energy, fast paced environment with diplomacy, flexibility and grace under pressure

    Dedication to continuous development, learning and improvement
