Job Title: Swim Instructor (teacher) and/or LifeguardSummary: Instructs students on water safety and proper swim techniques based on a thoroughknowledge of the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.

RequirementsAbility to work with children of all ages and ability levelsExcellent interpersonal communication and organizational skillsMust pass a background check (included with training)

Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvides swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculumEnforces safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents. Lifeguard responsibility andadministers first aid when necessaryEvaluates students’ progress, and completes required paperworkInteracts with parents/guardians on the activities and development of students’ swim skillsAttend required/mandatory workshops and in-service training outside of regular working hoursFulfills other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Employer

Education/Experience: Current High School Student (minimum educational requirement),experience in child care, as a camp counselor, coach or mentor. Passion for fitness and the sportof swimming.

Certifications: Willing to obtain/maintain current Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aidcertifications within 90 days of hire. If you are not Lifeguard certified, we offer Lifeguardclasses!
