    Requirements:

    Human Resources and Hiring / Recruiting experience

    Organizational Development and Leadership background

    Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills

    Must pass background examinations (included with training)

    Role: Human Resources Director

    Summary: Oversees the quality and success of Goldfish Swim School through outstanding human resources and hiring practices. May fulfill a role in daily operations of the schools when appropriate.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Hires and trains staff of GSS to ensure high productivity, excellent performance, and positive employee satisfaction.

    Develops understanding of the right candidates to ensure that our aquatics department can provide superior swim instruction to the students of GSS.

    Initiates and oversees workplace employee activities (“Fun” Department) with the goal of achieving improved employee satisfaction.

    Develops best-in-class employee benefits packages for various employee and manager levels.

    Provides guidance and counseling to employees over their employment cycle.

    Assists in the scheduling of staff.

    Manages payroll and labor budgeting.

    Maintains current certifications and stays up-to-date professionally on the aquatics and management field.

    Assists in daily operations to ensure the school is running per GSS standard operating procedures.

    Fulfills other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Employer.

    Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, organizational development, communications, or equivalent is desired. Experience as youth sports instructor/coach, camp counselor or aquatics instructor/supervisor is preferred.
