Major Responsibilities:Generates sales through new member fitness consultations and internal/external outreach and promotions Follows up on all prospects by using established Gold’s Gym sales systems Conducts telephone outreach using established Gold’s Gym sales systemsAverage a minimum requirement of appointments daily
Achieve monthly sales goals on a consistent basis
Maintains information on club history, background, philosophy, facilities, staff and policiesWork closely with the membership team to encourage and promote a high fitness consultation show percentageHas a thorough knowledge of, adheres to, and enforces Company policies and procedures as they pertain to gym operations. Prepares for, attends and actively participates in sales and personal training meetings. Maintains a positive relationship with the rest of the staff and supports the team in achieving their goals
Recruites and develops the personal training staffQualifications & Requirements:High school diploma; some college or College degree preferred
Previous sales experience preferred
Excellent sales, communication and customer service skills. Nationally recognized Personal Training certification is preferred but not requiredAbility to achieve monthly personal training revenue minimumsBasic computer skillsCurrent CPR Certification
As a Gold’s Gym Personal Training Manager, you will manage and develop the fitness department in an assigned gym, provide training and leadership for new and existing trainers, ensure personal trainers are scheduled for training delivery to clients and work with all gym personnel in involving them in fitness education and sales.
