Membership Production Lead/Leader

The Membership Production Lead is responsible for promoting and selling memberships to potential new members and selling renewals/upgrades to current gym members as well as motivating, coaching and providing accountability to membership sales staff. Membership Production Lead is responsible for consistent sales numbers over the weekend and will participate in future staffing needs.

Major Responsibilities:

Conduct tours and present options to Company–generated and employee generated leads.

Follow up with all prospects via call, text and/or email through Gold’s Gym prospecting system.

Promote fitness inside and outside of the gym.

Obtain referrals and assist with member retention.

Maintain a structured and organized itinerary per Gold's Gym employee daily planner.

Present membership options with integrity and clarity, ensure staff also upholds integrity of sales presentations.

Personally seek to develop sales and fitness knowledge, also seek information/direction from management.

Make an impact on personal and club appointment generation.

Ensure all new members are prepared for fitness assessments with PT Manager.

Provide daily and weekly updates for production, upcoming opportunities including personal training.

Qualifications & Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent and higher.

Above average sales, communication and customer service skills.

Management or leadership experience required.

Must be capable to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.

Lead production trends (appointments set, appointments show/close, overall closing %).

Demonstrated understanding of the Daily Sales Stat report and its contents.

Computer proficiency along with data analysis.

Be available on the weekends and capable of 50 hour work weeks.
