Regional Director of Group Exercise- North Region
Job Summary:
This position will oversee all aspects of group exercise department for GGSC North Region. Regional Director Group Exercise will be responsible for all north club locations including but not limited to; hiring, recruiting, and training Group Exercises Instructors. In addition, this position is responsible for ensuring growth in member participation through education, group trends, and new programs. This position is a full time position and will be based out of Northridge, CA.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Drive new client acquisition and achieve monthly revenue targets
Drive client retention through creating community and engagement
Work with other departments to boast participation in group exercise classes.
Oversee training for all group exercises instructors.
Train all group exercise instructors to help, assist, motivate and retain all members
Oversee all group Coordinator s scheduling for all GGX classes as needed.
Maintain microphones, stereo equipment, rooms and equipment storage areas
Prepare and discuss weekly reports with all Group Exercise Instructors
Ability to perform all duties as required for Group Exercise Instructors
Attends all staff and club meetings and events
Establish and maintain professional relationships with members and staff
Ensures that all required documentation (daily reports, checklists, etc.) are completed in a timely manner.
Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations

Present a professional demeanor at all times when representing Golds Gym SoCal
Provide input in developing strategies to support club goals and objectives
Develop and build a team atmosphere among staff and department
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from members
Job Requirements:
Available to work weekends and evenings and holidays
Ability to regularly travel and work at the club level
Must hold current CPR certification or obtain within 60 days of start date
Certification by nationally recognized institute.
Ability to work well with others

Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
Ability to communicate with guests and other associates, including reading, writing and speaking
