There are some MUST haves:

Experience with group exercise management and development of instructional fitness programs for large high-end health clubs with many locations

Extensive experience evaluating and developing fitness classes, programs, and instructors

Proven leadership ability in an educational, fitness or professional setting

Have strong analytical skills

Knowledgeable regarding the fitness industry

Understand how to evaluate develop fitness classes and instructors

Demonstrated ability to drive sales and hit budgets/goals for small group classes

Are passionate and take pride in helping people achieve their greatness through fitness

Can work in a dynamic, fast-paced, goal-oriented environment without sacrificing quality of service provided to our members.

Have perseverance to succeed through follow-up and follow through

Current CPR/AED certification

High school diploma (Degree in Exercise Science, Physiology, Kinesiology, Sports Management strongly preferred)

Have current certification(s) for fitness and/or class instruction

Desire to be better than you ever have before

When you come to work, you'll be:

Interviewing and hiring all instructors for all Gold’s Gym SoCal health clubs

Driving the educational development of personal training staff

Managing Gold's Studio programs controlling budgeted payroll costs and other expenses, while handling personnel issues and ensuring the highest level of service for all club members

Leading new instruction “on-boarding” by teaching Gold’s Gym fitness instruction process and assessment criteria

Explaining the dynamics of the programs and classes that we offer to our personal trainers to ensure they understand instructional classes and the benefits for our members

Helping to implement and facilitate the latest trends in fitness and health

Ongoing progressive program design and content for all Gold's Studio Classes

Increasing all related revenue related to Gold’s Gym Studio Managers/ Leads and Personal Trainers

Leading regional small group instruction by providing infrastructure of all fitness classes to new and existing instructors

Growing and maintaining relationships through prospects, members and referrals

Lead the welcome of our new members & personal training clients by developing strong customer relationships in the instruction classroom environment
