    Have fitness industry experience (preferred)

    When you come to work you’ll:

    Drive the educational development of personal training staff and help facilitate the latest industry trends in fitness

    Recruit, select, train and develop personal trainers

    Ensure that customers are given high quality services

    Assist in developing and maintaining workout programs

    Lead new trainer “on-boarding” by teaching Gold’s Gym fitness assessment, program design, and outstanding member service

    Monitor and control expenses within the allotted budget

    Lead “on-boarding” of new members and new personal training clients by developing strong customer service relationships

    Resolve issues and complaints pertaining to personal training from customers.

    Supervise day-to-day operations of the gym and personal training sessions.

    There are some MUST HAVES:

    Minimum of 1-year managing a personal training department for a large health club

    Proven leadership ability in an educational, fitness or professional setting

    Demonstrated ability to drive sales and hit budgets/goals

    Enthusiastic, energetic, personable and friendly as well as passionate

    Excellent communication, time management, organizational and follow-up skills

    Degree in field preferred (ex: Exercise Science, Physiology, Kinesiology, Sports Management)

    Current national personal training certification

    Current CPR/AED certification
