Digital Group Fitness Instructor
The Digital Exercise Instructor will create and record safe, engaging and effective fitness content, through a pre-arranged format of exercises designed to enhance overall fitness, strength and endurance for all fitness level.
Major Responsibilities
Provide a minimum monthly amount of class content to Group Fitness Manager of at least 3 hours of approved high quality material. Each class must be 30 - 60 minutes. Classes will be reviewed for fitness and video quality prior to uploading to our digital library.
Class formats must be approved prior to videotaping. Les Mills, Zumba, and Strong Nation cannot be part of the digital library per the regulations of those organizations.
Everything must be filmed in one of our 6 gyms.
You must wear Gold’s gym branded clothing.
You must use Gold’s Gym provided Laptop
You will need to coordinate with the GGX Managers to make sure the equipment is at the club where you will be filming
It will be locked before and after filming and you will need make sure it stays secure
Setup Room with Gold’s Gym signage - to be provided by Gold’s Gym and ensure it remains in video throughout class
Classes must adhere to music and program specific regulations
Classes must be safe and effective for all levels of fitness
You need to have a certification in any offering you are providing, such as a primary group fitness certification or specific certification such as kickboxing, yoga, pilates ect.
Other requirements or duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements:
Knowledge of basic physiology and body mechanics.
Performance of a variety of exercise routines.
Positive and effective interpersonal communication
Comfortable on camera and engaged with the audience
Ability to operate and troubleshoot Audio Visual and Computer Equipment
Instructors having a specialized skill such as Yoga, Pilates, Cycle ect. must provide verifiable proof of education.
Group fitness certification by ACE, AFAA, ACSM
Current CPR certification and basic first aid training is required.
Physical demands include, but are not limited to the ability to lift light weights, bending, squatting, jumping, running, reaching, walking, hopping, spinning and kicking.
