Job Description
The Golf Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining exceptional cleanliness,
organization, and presentation standards across all golf facilities and public areas. This role plays
a vital part in supporting the daily operation of the Golf Department by ensuring all spaces are
consistently guest-ready and aligned with luxury standards. Through attention to detail, efficiency,
and a service-focused approach, this position contributes directly to the overall member and
guest experience.
Responsibilities:
· Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service across all golf-
related public and employee areas
· Maintain assigned areas including, but not limited to: restrooms, locker rooms, offices,
public walkways, restaurant patios, and practice/range facilities
· Routinely inspect, clean, sanitize, and restock all common areas throughout the day,
including vanities, towels, and guest supplies
· Ensure public and back-of-house restrooms are consistently maintained to luxury
hospitality standards
· Follow established cleaning procedures and departmental standards; support continuous
improvement efforts
· Assist with special projects, deep cleaning, and event setup/cleanup as needed
· Maintain, organize, and properly store all cleaning equipment and supplies
· Monitor inventory levels and assist with the distribution and replenishment of supplies
· Identify, document, and report maintenance needs or safety concerns in a timely manner
· Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and chemical handling standards in accordance with
OSHA guidelines
· Provide a professional, courteous, and service-oriented presence to members, guests,
and colleagues
· Remain attentive and responsive to operational needs, demonstrating ownership of
assigned areas
· Collaborate with golf operations and other departments to ensure seamless daily
operations
· Perform additional duties as assigned by Golf management
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
· Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred, ideally in a resort or club environment
· Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
· Basic reading, counting, and organizational skills required · General knowledge of housekeeping practices and sanitation standards preferred · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including outdoor conditions and varying weather · Strong attention to detail, time management, and follow-through · Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team · Professional demeanor with a strong commitment to guest service · Ability to safely lift and carry a minimum of 30 pounds · Understanding of workplace safety standards and OSHA compliance preferred Physical Demands: · Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods · Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 30 pounds regularly throughout the shift · Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including high temperatures · Ability to perform tasks with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy · Ability to follow directions and complete tasks independently with minimal supervision · Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and handle supplies · Ability to identify and report safety hazards, maintenance issues, or equipment concerns promptly · Ability to maintain organized work areas and ensure readiness for subsequent shifts · Successful completion of all required training and certifications for the role
