    About the Role:

    As a Golf Pro Shop Manager, where you will lead a dynamic team in delivering exceptional customer service and enhancing the golfing experience. This exciting role offers the opportunity to combine your passion for golf with your leadership skills in a vibrant community setting.

    Responsibilities:

    Oversee daily operations of the pro shop, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests.

    Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and merchandising golf equipment and apparel.

    Develop and implement promotional strategies to boost sales and enhance customer engagement.

    Train and supervise staff, fostering a collaborative and customer-focused team culture.

    Assist customers with product selection, providing expert advice on equipment and services.

    Maintain compliance with club policies and industry regulations, promoting a safe environment.

    Utilize point-of-sale systems and manage financial transactions accurately.

    Hire and manage golf shop staff by conducting training, supervising and evaluating performance, and scheduling to match demand patterns

    Assist the General Manager in the facilitation of staff meetings

    Oversee the operations of the Driving Range

    May work some night shifts

    Requirements:

    Proven experience in retail management, preferably in the golf or sports industry.

    Strong knowledge of golf equipment, apparel, and industry trends.

    Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.

    Ability to manage inventory and financial records effectively.

    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    Proficient in using point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications.

    Passion for golf and a commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience.

    High school diploma or equivalent; degree in business or related field preferred.
