Functions: To provide friendly, informative and efficient service to all Golf Course visitors.

Duties: The duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the description listed below. The candidate must be prepared to take on additional responsibilities as part of the GCS team.

Operate Point-of-Sale and other sales software to conduct golf-related sales to patrons at Pro Shop, Driving Range and/or Miniature Golf Course.

Answer customer questions, and provide information on policies and procedures.

Accurately disburse money, using register(s), electronic scanners, credit card transactions and related equipment.

Count money in drawer(s) at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that cash is correct with adequate change is present. Conduct daily cash reporting and receipts management.

Be accurate in using correct prices of goods and services.

Answer phone calls and inquiries, book tee times, and direct patrons to the right departments using the phone system.

Issue receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers.

Stock merchandise and tag product, as needed.

Clean pro-shop areas and work stations.

Be in the Know about all Golf Services programs and products at facility.

Hours: This is a full-time or part-time seasonal position. Evening and weekend hours are top priority and may be required. Scheduled work hours are based on business needs. Facility is open 7 days a week and on holidays, but closed on Christmas Day.

Required:

One year or more cashier/hospitality experience

Strong Customer-service skills

Friendly demeanor and disposition

Works well in team environment

In-depth PC application knowledge: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Hours: This is a seasonal, part time or full-time position. Scheduled work hours are based on business needs. Business is open 7 days a week and on holidays. Weekday morning, evening and weekend shifts.

Rate Increase: $14.00 per hour (increases to $15 effective 7.1.20 )
