    REPORTS TO:Potomac Grille Manager

    LOCATION:Potomac Grille is part of East Potomac Golf Course on Hains Point in southwest DC. Closest metro stops (L'Enfant Plaza or Smithsonian) are 20-25 min. walk. From Apr-Nov, free Jitney boat service from The Wharf/Maine Avenue available daily, during select hours. Not served by bus line. Personal transportation highly recommended.

    SCHEDULE:Seasonal business is open year-round. Required hours are based on business needs. Minimum 35 hours per week in golf season (March -- October). 5-day week is typical with priority on onsite presence during peak times. Includes work on weekends, holidays and evenings.

    DUTIES:You will assist the Grille Manager with all aspects of food & beverage operations. This is a hands-on management team. Shift Leader does all functions - from cashier, cook, sandwich making, food prep, re-stocking, inventory management, product ordering, supervising team, etc. Must be able to lift items up to 30 pounds.     REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Minimum 3-5 years (hands-on) in Fast Food Service operations, incl, supervisory experience, cooking and food prep.- Strong communication skills; customer-service oriented/energetic.- Goal-oriented, motivated and works well in team environment and leads by example.- Must have an active, valid ServSafe food handler's license.

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Personnel Management Experience- Working knowledge of POS systems and Excel worksheets- Bachelors degree or Culinary training

    COMPENSATION INCREASE : increases to $15.00 per hour on 7.1.19
