Job Description

Gooby was founded in 2002 with creating Fashionable Functional wearable for dogs in mind.

We are looking for someone that is creative and innovative, who is able to break down boundaries and think of new ways to improve the life of dogs and their companions. We are looking for someone who has an understanding of soft goods (ie fabrics) as well as other materials that could be incorporated into pet products.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate with marketing team and other designers to generate ideas

• Lead design project and assign works to accomplish the design objective.

• Works with brand and product designers to ensure feasibility of design and function.

• Be knowledgeable and up to date about new materials and trends, and help the team successfully apply them to work practices.

• Work with other designers to ensure continuity across initiative, categories, and projects

Qualifications

• Experts in knowledge of various kinds of materials and fabrics.

• Expert-level knowledge of current trends in color, technology, communications, experience, art and other design influences.

• Expert in creative use of social media and new mediums.
