  • Responsibilities

    As a Solar Cold Caller, you will be responsible for initiating contact with potential customers to generate leads and schedule appointments for our solar sales team. This role plays a crucial part in our company's sales process by identifying prospects who may benefit from solar energy solutions and effectively communicating the value proposition of our products and services. You will utilize your communication skills and persuasive abilities to engage with individuals via phone calls, emails, and other communication channels, with the goal of qualifying leads and setting up meetings for our sales representatives. This is a Commission Based, Independent Contractor position. Responsibilities: • Conduct outbound cold calls to prospective customers to introduce our solar products and services. • Identify decision-makers and key influencers within target organizations or households. • Engage with prospects in a courteous and persuasive manner to assess their interest and qualify them as potential leads. • Clearly communicate the benefits of solar energy and address any questions or concerns raised by prospects. • Maintain accurate records of interactions and lead status in the CRM system. • Collaborate with the sales team to schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up activities. • Stay informed about industry trends, product developments, and competitor offerings to effectively position our solutions. • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly targets for lead generation and appointment setting. Qualifications: • Previous experience in outbound sales, telemarketing, or customer service roles preferred. • Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds. • Strong persuasion and negotiation skills with a results-oriented mindset. • Ability to work independently and effectively manage time in a fast-paced environment. • Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in using basic computer applications. • Knowledge of solar energy or renewable energy technologies is a plus. Compensation: $45,000
