    Good Shepherd Christian Child Development Center seeks loving, faith-filled individuals who are committed to providing an atmosphere of safety, love, acceptance, discovery, and exploration. We believe that each child is a child of God deserving love, respect, and security.

    We are hiring nurturing and kind Assistant classroom teachers for our older Infant room. We desire loving individuals with experience working with infants who wish to be part of our Christian childcare ministry. If this describes you, we look forward to meeting you!

    Our Assistant Teachers are responsible for collaborating with the Lead teacher in implementing the early childhood education program of the children within their care. They are expected to be actively engaged with the children throughout the day as they nurture all aspects of our infant’s growth and development.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Must have a sense of call and a passion for ministry with preschool children and their families that is grounded in an understanding and appreciation of Christian theology.

    Must be able to model generosity and compassion to people of all ages.

    Must have a minimum of six months experience in infant ministry and possess good communication skills with adults.

    Must commit to working in this ministry as a year-round employee.

    Educational requirements include a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent

    Assistant teachers must be at least 21 years of age.
