    POSITION OBJECTIVE:

    The Business Analyst provides strategic business analysis services to business partners. This Position is a role in a fast-paced regional business environment with direct reporting into the Regional President and Finance Manager as well as interfacing with various business stakeholders including customers and key process owners regarding strategic business issues around new market entry, contract economics and design as well as business / customer profitability analysis.

    The focus of this position is to work closely with the regional business unit to gain in-depth understanding of customer’s business strategy, processes, services, roadmap and the context in which the business operates as well as how Goodpack serves the customers. Responsibilities include reviewing assigned business processes from end-to-end to identify and address operational, financial and technological risks and opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    CUSTOMER ANALYSIS

    • Lead standard reporting for quarterly stewardship meeting at key customers
    • Creating customer or market profitability analysis
    • Customer Gains/Loss reporting versus budget
    • Revenue forecast planning model
    • Customer segmentation analysis
    • Monitoring costing / pricing models
    • Contract management support
    • Pricing management

    FINANCIAL ANALYSIS SUPPORT

    • Supports regional customer volume and revenue forecasting, tracking to budget and estimating year end position.
    • Supports annual budgeting process lead for contract revenue, incremental revenue, logistics cost and SG&A cost, working collaboratively with stakeholders to build bottom up budget and supporting assumptions.

    OPERATIONS ANALYSIS

    • Pricing and rate calculations including incremental billing components
    • Tracking monthly delivery volumes to budget/forecast
    • Examining year over year volumes by packer/customer
    • Create and produce reports utilizing the Power BI platform
    • Identifying monthly logistics cost outliers and determining whether cause can be controlled with process improvements
    • Supports preparing quarterly reports for customers to review performance metrics
    • Conducting analysis as needed to support improvement initiatives in functional areas such as fleet yield, days of inventory at depot, trade lane optimization.

    BUSINESS ANALYSIS SUPPORT – PRESENTATIONS TO INCLUDE:

    • Market initiatives and trends slides
    • Quarterly business updates
    • Townhall reviews
    • Overall Goodpack business performance relative to market trends

    BALANCED SCORECARD MAINTENANCE AND ANALYSIS FOR REGIONAL BUSINESS

    • Monthly tracking and reporting of key statistics
    • Drive improvement plan for better results

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Degree holders with minimum 5+ years of experience in business analysis, supply chain, logistics, inventory, financial analysis, contract analysis and pricing
    • Business/financial modelling. Ability to mine data and translate business information into models which are predictive of business results to assist in effective decision making
    • Strong analytical skills with significant quantitative analysis experience. Ability to synthesize quantitative information and communicate observations, implications and conclusions in a business context.
    • Strong knowledge of pricing processes, price administration and controls, as well as price monitoring and analysis.
    • Strong people and communication skills
    • Demonstrates strong computer software technical skills. Experienced with Microsoft Word Access and Tableau. Moderately advanced skills with Microsoft Excel.

    ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS & PROTOCOL

    REPORTS TO: Regional President and Regional Finance Manager

    INTERNAL LIAISONS: The position requires excellent communication and teamwork with the Sales Team, Business Development, Operations and Customer Service regionally and globally.

    EXTERNAL LIAISONS: The position requires excellent working relationships and networking with potential and existing customers to promote the use of Goodpack IBC throughout their supply chain.
