    Schedule: Flex (working between 20-29 hours per week)

    Compensation: $17/hour

    The Turndown Attendant will provide turndown services within the guidelines of Goodstone Inn and Restaurant standards while delivering exceptional guest service. Turndown duties include tidying rooms; turning down beds and remaking if necessary, exchanging dirty bathroom linens and glasses; filling ice buckets; emptying trash, closing drapes, and leaving room in the proper atmosphere for guests. The incumbent will also provide general support and assistance to the department, leadership, and company.

    Previous experience in a similar custodial/janitorial/housekeeping position is preferred.

    The ideal candidate will have had previous experience in an upscale/luxury hotel or resort

    Commitment to delivering excellent guest service and the ability to work successfully as part of a dynamic, guest-service-oriented team

    Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to perform essential job functions with speed and accuracy

    Good communications skills: must have the ability to complete room documentation forms and communicate using standard spoken and written English

    Strong organizational and time management skills

    Ability to handle/operate safely small commercial cleaning equipment, chemicals, solutions, and treatments

    Ability to be proactive and take the initiative as appropriate

    Should be able to anticipate and understand guest needs

    Ability to work independently and under deadlines and exercise good judgment

    Preferred Education and Experience:

    High school or equivalent preferred

    Hospitality and restaurant service: 1+ years

    Basic writing skills, good verbal communication skills

    Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.

    Job Type: Full-time OR Part-Time: Must be able to work 3 PM- 9 PM, weekdays, weekends, holidays Supervisory Responsibility: No Work Environment: This job operates in a professional hospitality environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

    Must be able to work effectively in a stressful environment, communicate with others, effectively interact with guests

    Must be able to accept constructive criticism from supervisors

    Must be able to change activity frequently and cope with last-minute room changes

    Must be able to work inside and out, in all weather conditions

    Must be able to maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition

    Physical Demands:

    Lift, carry, push and pull 25–50 pounds frequently

    Ability to climb stairs and ladders

    Endure various physical movements throughout work areas and shifts, such as kneeling, bending, stooping, reaching overhead, etc.

    Ability to work in an environment that may include:

    Variable conditions and noise levels

    Outdoor environments with fluctuations in temperature and weather conditions

    Exposure to fumes, dust, and chemicals, moving mechanical parts
