Job Title: Part-Time Banquet Houseperson

Job Summary:

As the Banquet Houseperson, you will be responsible for the proper setup, maintenance, and breakdown of event spaces for banquets, meetings, and other special events. This role involves physical tasks, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to ensure events are executed flawlessly.
Essential Functions
Set up and tear down meeting and event rooms as per BEO (Banquet Event Order).
As required, set up tables, chairs, linens, decorations, and other event-related equipment.
Arrange place settings, tableware, and centerpieces according to established standards.
Service of all banquets and banquet-related food and beverage operations for the events.
Efficiently clear event spaces of all equipment and decorations after the event.
Carefully handle and store items, ensuring their proper maintenance and storage for future use.
Break down tables, chairs, and other event-related equipment.
Communicate effectively with banquet servers, event planners, and other team members to ensure a seamless flow of events.
Assist servers with beverage service, food delivery, and other event-related tasks as needed.
Assist in tracking event supplies, linens, and other equipment inventory.
Report any damaged or missing items to the appropriate supervisor.
Adapt to last-minute changes and special requests from event organizers.
Preferred Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in banquets, event setup, or a related field is preferred.
Physical stamina to lift and move heavy equipment and objects.
Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Professional and customer-focused demeanor.
Job Type:
Part-Time: Must be able to work a varied schedule, including AM, Mid, and PM Shifts Friday/Saturday/Sunday
