MONDAY-FRIDAY BETWEEN  8:00AM- 4:30PM

20-29 HOURS PER WEEK.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in business (retail/manufacturing/production/logistics) setting preferred

• High School Diploma or GED required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Able to bend, reach and stand for extensive periods of time and lift up to forty pounds. May be required to lift heavier goods/items with the assistance of another team member.

• Must have sufficient eyesight and manual dexterity to differentiate between and classify items.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: (THESE ARE REQUIRED TO ENABLE JOB HOLDER TO PERFORM THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB).

1. Must be able to interact cordially and productively with a variety of people.                              

2. Must be able to market Goodwill Easter Seals and explain the mission to the general public.                  

3. Must have excellent computer skills.

4. Must have the ability to use basic office equipment.

5. Must have the ability to research the value of donated items.

6. Must have the ability to photograph items to be sold online. 

7. Must be able to take initiative and work well with little supervision.

8. Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills.

9. Must be able to keep information confidential.

10. Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly in English.

11. Must be able to maintain an effective working relationship with, and among employees while motivating them to their best performance.

12. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, on short notice, including nights and weekends, and regularly in excess of 40 hours per week.

13. Ability to function in a hectic work environment with occasional periods of high stress.

14. Ability to read and interpret websites, documents such as policies and procedures. Ability to write creatively and articulately.

15. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and average.

16. TO PERFORM THIS JOB SUCCESSFULLY, AN INDIVIDUAL MUST HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF ONLINE PROGRAMS SUCH AS GOOGLE, EBAY, AMAZON.COM AND MICROSOFT OFFICE PRODUCTS, SPECIFICALLY WINDOWS, WORD AND PICTURE MANAGER ARE REQUIRED. GENERAL EXPERIENCE WITH EXCEL AND DOING ONLINE RESEARCH IS STRONGLY DESIRED.

17. ABILITY TO TYPE 40 WPM STRONGLY DESIRED.
