    THE POSITION:

    Responsible for the development, coordination, and facilitation of training content via Goodwill®U (LMS) platform. Provides quality assurance for Goodwill®U campuses, the establishment of curricula, and the development of a blended, experiential approach to learning. The goal is to meet the needs of all learners in acquiring knowledge, skills, and competencies effectively while making a positive impact in the retention and support of our mission-integrated donated goods retail social enterprise.

    As the Instructional Design and Learning Administrator you will:

    • Provide world class customer service to all internal and external customers

    • Be responsible for the leadership, development, coordination, reporting, and facilitation of all learning via our Goodwill®U platform

    • Creates, develops, and updates engaging learning activities and course content for targeted audiences within the four branches of our learning program (core learning, leadership, functional training, and employability skills).

    • Utilizes project management software to manage and complete tasks/milestones efficiently

    • Works with department leaders and key stakeholders to design and execute interactive courses, including instructor-led, e-learning, multimedia content, onboarding, and other supporting materials to ensure an effective learning experience for team members.

    • Supports with our Pursuit of Education Program by administering the process, conducting onboarding meetings, completing online class registration and leading retention initiatives.

    THE QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field (Instructional Design, Creative Writing, Education, etc.) preferred
    • 2-5 years’ experience in related field preferred
    • Ability to write effective instructional text, audio/video scripts, stories, microcopy, and assessment questions.
    • Familiar with authoring and visual design tools (Articulate 360 preferred), Adobe Suite products, Microsoft Office Suite, Photoshop and other media design software.
    • Strong project management skills required with the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time to hit deadlines.

    SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must be able to work occasional after-hours and weekends
    • Incumbent must possess a valid driver's license, appropriate insurance coverage and a privately-owned reliable means of transportation to travel throughout GIM territory.
    • Ability to bend, reach and stand for extensive period of time, and lift up to twenty-five pounds on an occasional basis.
