    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Accounts for fixed assets, generates fixed asset reports and works with business unit on CER’s (capital expenditure requests)
    • Prepares and posts standard journal entries during month end close
    • Researches and resolves discrepancies within the general ledger activity. Performs routine G/L account analysis and reconciliations
    • Process monthly corporate credit card transactions.
    • Support monthly close and preparation of financial reporting packages. Provide clear and concise communication of results.
    • Generate and explain weekly and daily business KPI’s and other business metrics
    • Prepares and analyzes monthly reports and financial statements
    • Plays an active role in streamlining processes to improve productivity and efficiency
    • Ensures good internal controls are in place and followed including proper segregation of duties
    • Prepares forecasts and annual budget information
    • Review job profitability comparing results between when the job was quoted, when it was detailed vs. actual results. Communicate findings to Operations, Engineering and Finance.
    • Work hand-in-hand with accounting team to ensure accurate financial statements and understand variances in financials (to budget, forecast, prior year, etc.)
    • Recommend process improvements to benefit the finance and accounting departments, as well as process flow throughout the entire organization
    • Development and enhancement of internal reporting to provide insight into company performance.
    • Fully understand all accounting and financial procedures within the organization in order to better perform essential job duties
    • Ability to work flexible schedule to meet deadlines.
