    POSITION OVERVIEW:  

    Provide functional and technical support for our internal and external EDI customers and for all companies within WINA.  This includes solution design, identification and resolution of inbound and outbound transaction errors, UAT activities for new and changing EDI trading partner maps, setting up and maintaining trading partners for customer supply chain EDI transaction sets (Purchasing, Planning, Logistics, and Finance).  All aspects of effective EDI configuration and processing will be included within this position.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBITLIES include the following and all other duties assigned:

    • Ability to effectively partner with internal business partners, customers, suppliers and third party technical teams to ensure requirements are properly solutioned, documented, and agreed upon by all parties
    • Write EDI mappings for new or existing EDI transactions, collaborating with customers, suppliers or other stakeholders as needed to successfully implement the document in question
    • Document EDI specifications as well as business requirements and business process flows
    • Propose solutions using EDI technology to improve efficiencies within the organizations
    • Design UAT plans and perform infrastructure and document testing for EDI projects
    • Monitor daily access logs and clear them as needed via troubleshooting and issue resolution
    • Support the operating entities with questions related to EDI transactions
    • Investigate and resolve problems involving complex systems and/or network issues requiring no supervision
    • Work closely with German colleagues to complete SAP set ups, and vet and document SAP process flow as they pertain to new and existing WINA EDI projects
    • Communication channel setup and maintenance (AS2, SFTP, FTP, VAN)
    • Other duties as assigned.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering field or equivalent experience
    • Minimum 8 years of technology support experience; or commensurate combination of education and experience
    • Minimum 5 years EDI and Infrastructure experience – Manufacturing or Supply Chain X12 and EDIFACT transaction formats
    • Experience documenting EDI specifications
    • Seeburger experience a plus
    • Project Management experience a plus
    • Able to effectively communicate cross functionally and with both internal and external parties
    • Strongly self-motivated and able to meet objectives with little direct supervision
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with multiple project deadlines
    • Must occasionally lift, carry, or move up to 25 lbs.
