Flexion is currently seeking a REMOTE SQL Server Engineer consultant for our client, a Microsoft Partner headquartered in Minneapolis, MN specialized in MS Infrastructure and Cybersecurity projects for large and medium sized enterprises. This is a 9 to 18-month contract with possible extensions.
DUTIES
- Serve as a key technical resource for the customer
- Join a highly motivated team of leading industry experts
- Focused on delivering proactive services such as education workshops, delivering assessments and providing expert guidance
- Preview new technology before others in the industry and learn how to make the best from it
- Visit customers to train them and share industry and development expertise
- Build strong customer relationships and ensure deliveries align with customer projects and milestones.
- Gain access to expertise and support from the client’s consulting practice and product groups
- Analyze problems
- Maintain, extend accreditations and certifications, assist in developing best practices for key technologies and products to support technical team readiness
- Demonstrate strong communication skills; ability to develop strategic ongoing customer relationships, gain trust and respect for the client. Engineers must also possess strong technical writing, presentation, and training skills
- Willingness to travel in the US. Travel is not expected, and especially not in these next 6 months, but if it comes up in the future, would be reimbursed.
