    PURPOSE OF POSITION: To provide service and support to the education staff with the overall responsibility of maintaining a high level of professionalism in record keeping, data entry and student testing. Assisting in effectively meeting the program outcome measurements. To provide information about NexStep Alliance to the public. Other assigned functions as deemed necessary by the Program Coordinator. To fulfill mission statement.

    QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: High School Diploma, some college preferred. Experience may be considered in lieu of education.

    EXPERIENCE/SPECIAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE: Customer service experience. Computer and typing experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel. Must be able to pass test proctor certifications for Pearson Vue, PSI/CATS and state assessment exams.

    Bi-lingual a plus.

    ORGANIZATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Data entry to support grant requirements. Proctor Kansas Board of Regents approved academic assessments, Proctor Pearson Vue exams and PSI/CATS FAA tests. Assist in organizing NexStep enrollments, events and/or programs. Work with adults possessing disabilities and or other barriers to employment and participate in the achievement of their goals. Act as a positive role model. Display commitment and involvement towards Goodwill's mission.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    1. Assist the Program Support team in all support duties towards providing a quality educational experience for NexStep students.
    2. Proctor Kansas Board of Regents approved academic assessments
    3. Proctor Pearson Vue testing
    4. Ability to effectively communicate and assist education service staff, students, parents and applicants on the telephone and/or in person.
    5. Perform intakes and screening of applicants.
    6. Record data relating to services and support in computer database.
    7. Maintenance of all records and files as required.
    8. Maintain required certifications as defined by Program Coordinator.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Assist the Program Support team in all support duties towards providing a quality educational experience for NexStep students.
    2. Answer telephones and channels calls and messages to appropriate personnel.
    3. Proctor Kansas Board of Regents approved academic assessments
    4. Proctor Pearson Vue and PSI/CATS testing
    5. Organize and input data as assigned.
    6. Coordinate requests for assistance and intake procedures.
    7. Knowledge of and/or ability to learn equipment, machines and software programs, to include, but not limited to calculators, computer, fax and photocopier.
    8. Screen and refers/records requests to appropriate community organizations.
    9. Administer and logs reports for computer and paper testing of students.
    10. Maintaining and reporting of data related to intakes and referrals.
    11. Ability to prioritize in accordance with established procedures related to areas of responsibility.
    12. Provide support as needed for NexStep staff.
    13. Adhere to all safety policies and report violations.
    14. Adhere to all ethical standards and confidentiality of records.
    15. Support mission statement and program outcomes.
    16. Support the accessibility of our services and facilities free of architectural, attitudinal, environmental, financial, communication, transportation, employment and other barriers to person with disabilities and barriers to employment.
    17. Responsible for the safety well being of all students and employees.
    18. Other duties as assigned.
