THIS IS A FULL TIME POSITION, HOURLY RATE STARTING AT $14.00 PER HOUR
JOB SUMMARY:
- Assists the Program Manager with the operation a residential, deaf, or community program, and participates in the management of staff ensuring that all service recipients’ needs are met.
- Represents the Agency in all interactions with other members of the Goodwill community and with the general public, supporting the agency Vision of creating sustainable communities that thrive through the fullest participation of their diverse residents.
- Furthers the organizational commitment to triple bottom line results: integrating social, economic and environmental goals into thinking, planning and actions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
COMMUNICATION
- Communicates with program employees about service recipient progress.
- Responds to urgent matters related to service recipients, employees and the facility, in the absence of the Human Services Program Manager.
- Carries a pager and is available on-call as needed and as assigned by the Human Services Program Manager.
KNOWLEDGE
- Assists in assuring the quality of designated program in relation to service recipient needs and satisfaction.
- Ensures the proper implementation for the overall medication administration, medical care and service coordination as needed.
- Keeps abreast of current events within designated program and informs stakeholders of important issues/trends Assumes direct support specialist responsibilities as needed.
- Works to ensure that all necessary certifications for facility staff are current within agency policy.
ADMINISTRATION
- Assists in coordinating information and services with interested parties inside and outside the Agency, to include; providers, family, guardians, government regulators, payors, community and day treatment services.
- Monitors the maintenance of Agency vehicle as well as transportation budget- where applicable Produces accurate and timely clinical, billing, administrative and other documentation as required.
- Works to ensure the routine maintenance, safety/health standards in accordance with The Regulations Governing the Licensing/Functioning of Assisted Living Housing Programs, state, local laws and accreditation.
SUPERVISION
- Assists the Human Services Program Manager with daily personnel issues, to include: employee schedules; employment status paperwork; and performance evaluations.
- Assist the Human Services Program Manager to ensure that program employees are following individual service plans and aiding with the achievement of goals.
FINANCIAL
- Helps the Human Services Program Manager to monitor budgetary concerns within program, including: staffing costs; maintenance repairs and supplies; food budget; and costs associated with running the facility.
