    Job Description

    Searching for a Business Development Manager for a well-known and growing HVAC supply company. This position will be responsible for achieving sales and growth targets by developing new customer accounts and increasing sales within existing accounts.

    BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Increase sales through proactive sales activities, such as outside sales, trade shows, customer calls, training events, dealer meetings, and customer social events and meetings
    • Establish and expand relationships with key people and decision-makers within each customer organization
    • Develop new customers and contacts to expand the customer base
    • Contact existing and prospective customers to uncover, clarify, or amplify needs & opportunities
    • Prospects for new customers and finds new quality leads
    • Prioritizes new and existing accounts in terms of margin and profitability
    • Develops territory and sales plans to target key customers and prioritize sales activities

    BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High School Diploma/GED required OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Minimum of 2 years of documented successful direct sales experience
    • Must have 2-3 years of direct sales experience in the business-to-business HVAC/R or similar industry
